Spruce Mountain Ranch is a stunning Colorado mountain wedding venue with two separate properties just a mile apart. They were created to celebrate the beauty of Colorado, and offers both indoor and outdoor spaces so you can get married at any time of year.
It spans over 450 acres and is conveniently located just 30 minutes south of Denver, and 30 minutes north of Colorado Springs. It has a mix of rustic and elegance and celebrates Colorado style, and has so many beautiful hand-crafted details that are a part of their spaces.
This venue sits in the most peaceful location surrounded by the picturesque foothills of Colorado, letting you enjoy all of the natural beauty this area has to offer. Spruce Mountain prides themselves on making sure your wedding is everything you’re dreaming about and turning your vision into a reality.

What’s included at Spruce Mountain Ranch
Spruce Mountain Ranch wants to make sure you have everything you need to have the most unforgettable day. Here’s what’s included when you book a wedding here:

- Seperate cocktail hour space
- 11 consecutive hours of venue space
- The use of our beautiful getting ready spaces. (cottage or loft and lounges)

Wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch: Upper Ranch
Upper Ranch is a property with six different venue spaces to choose from where you can find one that fits exactly what you’re envisioning.
The Ponderosa Room
The Ponderosa Room is filled with grandeur, with a very expansive space to fit up to 450 seated guests for any large weddings. It has the typical Colorado style with all of the wood siding, but still has a sophisticated feel with fireplace, courtyard, and a stage perfect for a live band or a DJ. This is also a great indoor ceremony option for harsh weather.
The Spruce Room
The Spruce Room has the most stunning indoor/outdoor fireplace that reaches from floor-to-ceiling and is a perfect backdrop for both a ceremony or reception. There are also beautiful market lights, and glass overhead doors that open up to a lighted courtyard. They created this space to add onto the Ponderosa Room, but it’s also perfect for a more intimate event. Enjoy all the breath-taking views surrounding this space!
The Aspen Room
This smaller space, The Aspen Room, sits next to the Spruce Room with two 14-foot-tall, custom-made, sliding wood doors that are incredible! When you open them and look to the south, you get to take in the beautiful mountain landscapes that are framed by a overhead glass door. It’s a perfect spot to have a mix of that indoor/outdoor reception and have a industrial chic vibe, mixed with a classic Colorado feel.
The Courtyard
The Courtyard is a perfect spot for an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, or for dancing with your guests under the stars. Enjoy the beautiful large stone fireplace and the landscaped surroundings, and the backdrop of the Ponderosa Room.
The Lakeview Terrace
This stunning and intimate space sits right on the edge of Angus Lake under a stone gazebo. For a smaller ceremony or reception, you can take in the views of the beautiful fountain and the natural surroundings. It can also be used for other smaller events leading up to the wedding.
Trey’s Vista
If you’re wanting an absolutely breath-taking outdoor space for your wedding, then this is definitely your spot! You enter handcrafted wooden doors that open up into this incredible open grassy vista and the views are unbeatable. You and your guests can truly just enjoy the gorgeous surroundings and your photos are guaranteed to be stunning!
Wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch: Lower Ranch
Lower Ranch also offers five venues, with both indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from.
Albert’s Lodge
Albert’s Lodge is a large space with the rustic elegance you would hope for in a Colorado wedding venue. It has a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, built in bar, and a nice front porch for your guests to enjoy. Therre is also a full-service pantry that your caterers can use and appreciate. Your family and friends could also enjoy a private room that has a pool table, TV, and a wet bar. This space also has doors that open up to a courtyard lit up with market lights and is perfect to enjoy beautiful Colorado nights.
Colorado Room
This smaller rustic space is perfect if you’re wanting to enjoy both the indoors and outdoors for your day. It has indoor and outdoor fireplaces, beautiful flower gardens, a stream and dewpond, and activities to entertain your guests. You can truly enjoy the surroundings in this space!
The Courtyard
Between the Colorado Room and Albert’s Lodge sits this outdoor area underneath beautiful market lights. It has a very rustic log pergola-covered entrance and is surrounded by rock walls. It’s perfect if you want your guests to enjoy dancing under the stars, or use it as part of your grand entrance for your ceremony in one of the surrounding spaces.
Grace’s Chapel
This space is such a serene and romantic spot that sits in the properties breathtaking gardens. For a ceremony, you and your guests will enjoy the shade of a lush old WIllow tree. It makes you feel transported to a venue in the South! You also have a view of Spruce Mountain, all the beautiful flowers, and a flowing creek as well.
Mountainside
A final venue option at Lower Ranch is what you’ll see in the photo directly below, and it definitely speaks for itself! This space gives you the opportunity to appreciate the incredible surroundings and have the most stunning backdrop for such an important moment. You get views of the whole ranch, as well as Ogddn Pond. It’s really an unbeatable spot!
